Is Aurora difficult for you to say?

I’m loosely toying with the name for myself, (Loosely, because it means [name]Dawn[/name], and I have a very negative connection to someone with that name.)

I’ve noticed it’s a bit of a mouthful for me to say.
Is this just a thing with me, or do others feel the same?

Also, any A name suggestions are welcome.
Besides:
[name]Alexandra[/name] and variants.
[name]Ariana[/name]

[name]Alana[/name]/[name]Alena[/name]/[name]Alaina[/name]/[name]Aliana[/name]/[name]Alina[/name]
[name]Adria[/name]/[name]Adriana[/name]
[name]Audra[/name]/[name]Audrey[/name]/[name]Aubrey[/name]/[name]Aubria[/name]
[name]April[/name]
[name]Alison[/name]/[name]Alice[/name]
[name]Alyssa[/name]
[name]Alessandra[/name] and variants
[name]Ariel[/name]
[name]Avery[/name]/[name]Ava[/name]/Avaline
[name]Ambrosia[/name].

I like/love the bold the above, but have already considered them.

I have no trouble saying it unless the last name is also R heavy.

I really like Avanell, [name]Arianell[/name], [name]Anona[/name], [name]Anastasia[/name], and [name]Antonia[/name] besides those you have considered.

I don’t have trouble saying it.

[name]Alice[/name]
[name]Ailey[/name] (EYE-lee)
[name]Allegra[/name]
[name]Allira[/name] (ah-LEER-ruh)
[name]Amara[/name]
[name]Arcadia[/name]
[name]Avalon[/name]
[name]Astoria[/name]
[name]August[/name]
[name]Audrey[/name]
[name]Amelie[/name]

I have no problems with it whatsoever. I don’t think the meaning would have that big of an impact, it’s not like you are naming yourself after her. What about [name]Astoria[/name]? It seems similar yet different and you could have the NN [name]Story[/name]

Well I will be the odd person out and confess that it’s not the easiest for me to say. There is something about it… almost like the R’s are running into each other? I prefer [name]Ariana[/name], [name]Ambrosia[/name] and [name]Astoria[/name] in no particular order.

Yes, that’s my issue. The Rs run into each other too much. And the more I say it, the worse it gets! lol.

Yeah I have a very hard time saying it. The two r’s in the name make it sound like I have marbles in my mouth. Lol. It won’t be hard for everyone but I think it is an issue for some people. I like [name]Alexandra[/name]!

yes, I have trouble saying [name]Aurora[/name], [name]Rory[/name] and [name]Ruari[/name] which is a shame as I liked the last for my second son, but just couldn’t teach myself to say it naturally.

Yes, I have major approach-avoidance with it too, i love it but feel it is hard to say/ a mouthful and DH feels the same, probably won’t use it as a result!

Yeah, I worked with an [name]Aurora[/name] for the longest time and had trouble with it. She also went by [name]Rory[/name] “because she had trouble saying [name]Aurora[/name], her own name!” I really love the name, but I’m too gimpy to say it, haha.

I love [name]Aurora[/name]! It’s not too hard for me to say but the "R"s are a bit troublesome. I’m more sensitive to others having the problem saying the name rather than myself. Besides, I have one of those “R” heavy surnames, so it really doesn’t work for me as a FN. I love it so much, though, and couldn’t let it go, so I put it in the MN position. Maybe you could use it as a MN? I think something like [name]Alice[/name] [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] or something would be pretty.

I also love Alice, Ariana, Ariel, and Aliana from your list… what about these “A” names?
