It’s fairly popular, but it sound like you love [name_f]Belle[/name_f], so I wouldn’t let the popularity issue deter you from using it.
I absolutely love the name [name_f]Belle[/name_f], especially as a nickname for [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]. It’s good that you are considering the populariy of your future child’s name, but ultimately, the decision is yours, and [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is gorgeous.
I haven’t come across too many baby girls with this name. I say it is still fresh in the middle, more than [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_f]Grace[/name_f].
I hear it in Internet fora, but I don’t know anyone who has used it as a middle name, or a first name for that matter. I do know a few girls named [name_f]Bella[/name_f], but no Belles.
I don’t know any [name_f]Belle[/name_f]'s but I do know a few [name_f]Bella[/name_f]'s! Most [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]'s I know end up nicknamed [name_u]Issy[/name_u]/[name_u]Izzy[/name_u] but that might change with the influx of [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]'s into schools…
I think you’re fairly safe with just [name_f]Belle[/name_f], especially as a middle name.
I’ve never met anyone called [name_f]Belle[/name_f]. I’ve met one [name_f]Bella[/name_f] before, but I’ve never met a [name_f]Belle[/name_f]. It’s gorgeous, though! I love it as a middle name or as a nickname for something. I don’t think it’s a super common middle name, but it’s probably more common as a middle name then it is as a first name. Either way, I don’t think you can go wrong with such a precious name.
[name_f]Belle[/name_f] is a very lovely name, and it isn’t very popular as a first name (at least in my area). I haven’t ever met anyone named [name_f]Belle[/name_f], actually. If you like it, I wouldn’t worry about popularity–you should use it! It definitely stands out in the sea of [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]'s, [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]'s, and [name_f]Bella[/name_f]'s.
