I’m really starting to like it but I’ve heard people say there’s not enough to it. Thoughts?
I don’t think so! I’ve never heard that, personally. To me, it’s just as substantial as any other one-syllable name, and the double Ns at the end make it look quite solid.

I really like [name_f]Brynn[/name_f]! I think it is substantial enough! It’s similar to [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], [name_u]Lynn[/name_u], etc which are all substantial names!
I like [name_f]Brynn[/name_f]! I prefer [name_f]Brynley[/name_f], which is just the longer version and [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] is the nn.
I think [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] is just fine. If [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] works, why not [name_f]Brynn[/name_f]?
I don’t think it’s insubstantial. I don’t particularly like it myself but there are plenty of similar sounding names I do like such as [name_f]Fern[/name_f] and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], and I think [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] holds up equally well to them.
I do prefer the [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] spelling as it’s more traditional/standard, even if using it as a feminine name isn’t traditional.

[name_u]Bryn[/name_u] is a common name root in Nordic and Scandinavian names that means breastplate/armor or protection. [name_f]Brynja[/name_f] also has a direct translation that correlates with [name_u]Bryn[/name_u], while Bryndis roughly means “goddess armor” or “goddess protection” and [name_f]Brynhild[/name_f] is an older variation of [name_f]Brunhild[/name_f] from Brynhildr/Brunhildr, who was the queen of the valkyries. [name_f]Bryony[/name_f] is a vining plant with pretty little green/white flowers (think along the lines of names like [name_f]Ivy[/name_f].)

I love [name_f]Brynn[/name_f]! I think it’s great as a first or middle. As others have said it’s no less substantial than [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. I also like the [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] spelling a lot.

I prefer [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] on a boy honestly but its so well known for girls nowadays that I probably wouldn’t use it for a boy. I think its substantial. On a boy some say why not just do [name_m]Brian[/name_m] but for a girl you can’t make that argument so I think its actually more substantial for a girl!

Eh, I wouldn’t say that? [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] is nice. I guess you could elongate to [name_u]Brinley[/name_u] or [name_f]Brynja[/name_f], or even [name_f]Bryony[/name_f] nn [name_f]Brynn[/name_f], but [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] by itself seems easiest? I admit to vastly preferring [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] on a boy to [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] on a girl, personally, but objectively it is a sweet name and I can’t really see the argument that it lacks substance since [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] is a legitimate, standalone Welsh name (albeit masculine in [name_m]Wales[/name_m] lol).
