I was completely surprised to see the rank of [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]. I dont know any Cecilias and Iam starting to really like the name.
My question, how many Cecilias do you? Is it going to sound overused in a few years?

I don’t know any Cecilias - young or older!
I’m in the US, and I don’t know any Cecilias
I have only met one [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] in my life!! I wouldn’t be too worried about the popularity!
I’ve never met or known a [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f]. I think its lovely!
The closest name I think I’ve ever heard would be [name_f]Cynthia[/name_f].
I’ve only met one [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]. In the UK it’s definitely not a popular name, though perhaps it is more common in other countries. I think it’s lovely.

It’s only at the 150(ish) mark, I don’t think you have to worry about it being overly popular. And I’ve met a couple Cecilias, but they were all older ladies (in their 60s-70s or so)
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
I’m in the midwest U.S., & I hear [name_f]Cece[/name_f] a ton at the playground, children’s library, etc. (I’m a nanny, that’s why I frequent these places w/out having my own kids!). I don’t know if they’re all Cecilias or not, but most of them probably. My sister used to work at a daycare, & she had a handful of Cecilias/Ceces there too. For what it’s worth, I think that it’s a pretty name. I don’t care for [name_f]Cece[/name_f] as much. I also really like [name_f]Celia[/name_f] or [name_f]Cecily[/name_f], which are way less popular.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
I feel like rank is not as good an indicator of popularity as, say, the number or percentage of babies given a name. In the most recent data, [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] was given to fewer than 2,000 baby girls - less than 1 in a thousand! Framed that way, I don’t think it’s especially common - it’s right in that sweet spot of familiar/uncommon, where almost everyone has heard the name, but not everyone will have known a [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f].
I don’t know anyone called [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] and I don’t think it’s going to become especially popular anytime soon.
I only knew one (and, full disclosure, I didn’t know her name was [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] till two year after I met her).
I’ve only met one [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], who I believe is now in her 50s or 60s. I haven’t seen it on a little girl, but when I worked with children, I definitely met some [name_f]Cece[/name_f]’s that could have been [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f].
I only know one, which is my nana who is 85, turning 86 soon, but it’s her middle name, so I don’t think it actually counts
