[name]Do[/name] you think [name]Charlotte[/name] is an approachable name in its full form? I was wondering if it gets nicknames sometimes despite being a 2 syllable name because it is too formal, not approachable, not familiar enough or something? what do you think?
I think it is gorgeous! I also think it is very approachable, and very familiar! Great name 
It seems too common a name NOT to be approachable, [name]IMO[/name]. [name]Char[/name] would be the most likely NN, followed by [name]Lottie[/name], but I don’t think people will shorten it because the name is unapproachable. It’s just what people do.

I think it’s definitely approachable and familiar enough. It probably gets nicknamed so frequently because it has lots of pretty nn options. [name]Love[/name] it in all it’s full or nicknamed forms =)
Since [name]Charlotte[/name] is #27 on the US top list, I don’t think you should worry about it being too formal (assuming you’re in the US). I’d use nn [name]Lotta[/name] or [name]Lottie[/name]. Or perhaps [name]Charlie[/name].
