Is Clara old fashioned?

I am looking for a name for my baby girl due in [name_u]August[/name_u]

I like international names (could be accepted everywhere in the world)
[name_m]Don[/name_m]’t like supper trendy name that you can find 5 in each class ([name_f]Ava[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f],…)

Thinking about :
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Helena[/name_f]

What do you think about these names?

I have been hearing that these names are old fashioned is that true ? Are these grandma’s name?

Open to any name suggestion

I don’t think any of those names are old-fashioned, and I think they’re all beautiful names. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is a pet love of mine, I’m very fond of it, but I think [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_f]Helena[/name_f] are also lovely.

They’re old fashioned but 100% useable! I don’t think they’re too old lady to use but rather sweet. I love [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] the most! [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is also very pretty.

[name_f]Clara[/name_f] is a beautiful name! If I didn’t have a niece named [name_f]Claire[/name_f], I would 100% name my child this! It’s so pretty and elegant, but at the same time, simple, and it’s definitely coming back - without being too popular!

I don’t prefer [name_f]Helena[/name_f] personally - but I don’t think it’s too old-fashioned. I actually know a few girls named [name_f]Helena[/name_f]!

[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is super cute!

I wouldn’t say “old-fashioned,” which to me suggested that they are dated, or connected to a particular period in history. I think they’re all classic, with a slight nostalgic twist. They’re all great.

[name_f]Helena[/name_f] is the only one of those I’d consider old fashioned. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] are both beautiful and traditional - yes they were used in the olden days but they’ve carried right the way through and are still usable now, in my opinion. [name_f]Helena[/name_f] is one that I feel stayed back there and hasn’t quite come back yet, although I can feel her slowly coming back with the popularity of all the [name_f]Elena[/name_f]/[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] names.

[name_f]Clara[/name_f] is the most old fashioned to me but absolutely not unusable. I love it!

Yes, [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is a grandma name for me.
I like [name_f]Helena[/name_f] best from your options. Especially if you’re pronouncing it “Huh-lay-nuh”

My suggestions are [name_f]Iris[/name_f] or [name_f]Ivy[/name_f].

They all feel vintage to me. I think [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is definitely usable, and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] too. However, I’m not so sure [name_f]Helena[/name_f] is quite ready to be used again yet.

I love [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and definitely don’t think of them as old fashioned instead I would say that they are ‘classic vintage’ [name_f]Helena[/name_f] also fits in this category although I don’t love it as much as the other two (they are both on my list And if I’m ever lucky enough to have a daughter [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is a top contender)
