Is Corbin too similar to Benton?

We have one son named [name]Benton[/name] and we’re expecting babe #2 in [name]March[/name]. It’s too early to know the gender yet (I’m thinking girl), but just in case it’s a boy I’m considering some names. I really like [name]Corbin[/name] [name]Wolfe[/name], but I’m worried that the [name]Ben[/name] beginning of [name]Benton[/name] and the bin ending of [name]Corbin[/name] is too much. Some other names I like are…

[name]Ransom[/name] [name]Charles[/name]
[name]Adrian[/name] [name]Ward[/name]
[name]Harrison[/name] [name]Wolfe[/name]
[name]Willem[/name] [name]Charles[/name]

Which one sounds best with [name]Benton[/name] [name]Grover[/name]? Any other suggestions?

[name]Benton[/name] and [name]Corbin[/name] are a bit similar. I think they could work, but I like the idea of something a bit more distinctive. I think [name]Benton[/name] and [name]Willem[/name] would be great, style wise and everything. [name]Harrison[/name]'s my favorite of the bunch, though, and I do think [name]Benton[/name] and [name]Harrison[/name] would be great for brothers.

Good luck!

I don’t think Benton and Corbin are too similar for brothers. True, they are both 2 syllables and end in N, but they’re not loaded with similar sounds–that N is really all they have in common. (Edit: Duh, and the B, too–no matter. They’re still okay as far as I’m concerned.) I think they would work.

Harrison is my favorite, though.

I don’t think they’re too similar

[name]Adrian[/name] and [name]Harrison[/name] are too common next to [name]Benton[/name]. I like [name]Ransom[/name] but not with [name]Benton[/name]. [name]Willem[/name] [name]Charles[/name] is nice but [name]Corbin[/name] [name]Wolfe[/name] is the best

The “bin” in [name]Corbin[/name] did stand out to me. I don’t think that takes [name]Corbin[/name] off the table, though.

[name]Ransom[/name] [name]Charles[/name] gets my vote.

I love [name]Benton[/name] & [name]Corbin[/name] together <3 Such a cute sibset! If you really don’t think it’s a good idea, I’d go with Harrison. Also, I love Wolfe as a middle name
