Our last name is 2 syllables, starts with a C and ends in O. These are two of my favorite names and this is DEFINITELY my last baby. Nickname possibilities are amazing - [name_u]Cory[/name_u], CC, [name_f]Delia[/name_f], [name_f]Lia[/name_f], [name_f]Tiny[/name_f], [name_f]Minnie[/name_f]. I’m thinking of just putting my foot down with the husband
What do you think? Does it work with [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]? She’s the only one close in age (they will be 21 months apart) - the next one up is almost 10.
Cordelia Clementine is frilly feminine and sweetly vintage all rolled up into one. Is it too much? Perhaps …as a full name with a “C” surname but… since you’ll be giving her a nn, I don’t think I would worry about it. Arden and Cordelia are as different as night and day but they 're both Shakespearean so that would be a subtle connection between the sisters close in age.
[name_f]Birdie[/name_f] & [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] work well, though it is a bit overly sweet for me personally. [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is OK as far as alliteration goes. My rule is so long as it isn’t silly it’s OK. This is toeing the line a bit, but [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] feels refined & serious enough that I don’t worry about her if she ends up a refined & serious type as an adult I think it works.
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] C. sure is a lot of c’s, but I think it’s super cute and wearable. [name_u]Arden[/name_u] & [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] are very different but I think it will work.
