Is [name_f]Darla[/name_f] too dated? Those I know are over 40, but I think it’s adorable. Is it still useable? Your thoughts are appreciated.
It’s dated and a bit too precious, but I can’t help but like it too.
Yes, it’s dated, and I never liked it much. [name_f]Darlene[/name_f] is cuter, but still dated.
I quite like it.
It might be a bit dated, however, it reminds me of [name_f]Darla[/name_f] form the little rascals which makes me like it quite a bit actually.
I’ve never met a [name_f]Darla[/name_f], only know it from The [name_m]Little[/name_m] Rascals. I agree; it’s adorable! I would love it as a middle for [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] as a play on [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] ([name_f]Moira[/name_f] [name_f]Angela[/name_f]) Darling from [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Pan[/name_m]. As a first, I think it could work, but definitely no cutesy names in the middle; something classic would be better. [name_f]Darla[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. [name_f]Darla[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]. Probably no nouns either. [name_f]Darla[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] sounds like darling rose, and I think any noun would do that.
Yes, it is dated, but I quite like it.
[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Marla[/name_f]? It’s another favourite of mine.
[name_f]Darla[/name_f] is dated to me. Isn’t the girl from Finding [name_m]Nemo[/name_m] named [name_f]Darla[/name_f]? Makes me not like it.
I like [name_f]Darla[/name_f], it’s cute. I think it would work well with all of the other names used often nowadays. It’s probably dated but I don’t think it’s too dated. If you know what I mean? I think it is usable
I think it’s okay, it’s very similar to [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f], and I have a little cousin with that name ([name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]).
I know a lovely adult [name_f]Darla[/name_f]; she has helped me see the name as something other than the slightly bratty [name_f]Darla[/name_f] from “Our Gang”.
Thanks for the feedback!
[name_f]My[/name_f] grandmother’s name is [name_f]Darla[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u], I love her name.
