I brought [name]Digby[/name] up to my S.O and he laughed out loud. I really like it though.

When I see this name, all I can think of is “The dingo ate my baby!” Sorry.

Sir [name]Digby[/name] Chicken [name]Caesar[/name]. [name]Little[/name] known reference, but google it (nothing naughty…although not necessarily suitable for work or kids - a rather unfunny recurring sketch on an otherwise funny British sketch show).

I’m not totally sure what I think of [name]Digby[/name], to be honest, but I don’t think that it’s awful. I’m not sure if it’s to my taste, but I get the appeal.

I think it would make a fantastic character name, but a horrible baby name.

It’s all right! I like Diggory a bit more (which has long been used in Cornwall, and has that excellent [name]Narnia[/name] reference), but [name]Digby[/name]'s ok. It’s offbeat but not implausible. It would go over better in the UK than in [name]North[/name] [name]America[/name].

I’m sorry, but I think it’s not a good idea. I think [name]Rigby[/name] is a name you could consider.

I love the suggestion of Diggory- I think that’s great!
I think [name]Digby[/name] is pretty dog-namey. I imagine [name]Digby[/name], Fido, and Spot hanging around at the dog park. I get the same feeling from [name]Rigby[/name] and even [name]Riley[/name] to an extent. Maybe it’s just me.

I like [name]Digby[/name] because it reminds me of [name]Ned[/name]'s dog in Pushing Daisies (and I freaking [name]LOVE[/name] that show!!)

As refreshing as I would find it if I heard it on a child, I have to agree with the pp that it’d sound better on the canine species.

I like it more than most -y ending names for boys.

I tend to like D names for boys… [name]Dylan[/name], [name]Donovan[/name], [name]Dominic[/name], and [name]Dashiell[/name] all appeal to me. For that matter so do [name]Dmitri[/name]/[name]Demetrius[/name], [name]Denzel[/name], and [name]Dan[/name].

Really like the name [name]Digby[/name]. It is so cool in an old English way.
