Is Elliot too close to Charlotte?

I’ve always loved the name [name]Elliot[/name] but I fear it’s too close to our daughter’s name [name]Charlotte[/name]. Thoughts?

While at first I want to say that [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Elliot[/name] are too close, I’m not sure that I would notice the similar endings so much if the names were said together in a conversation. It isn’t like you’re considering [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Charles[/name] or [name]Elliot[/name] and [name]Eleanor[/name]. I think it’s fine.

I agree completely with @southern.maple. I wouldn’t bat an eye at using [name]Everett[/name] and [name]Violet[/name], [name]Everett[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name], etc. together, for my own children, and I think [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Elliot[/name] are even more distinct. I think [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Elliot[/name] would actually be adorable for siblings.
