Is Ever to different to be a beautiful name?

Lately I have been considering very differnet names to name a girl. Here is my list please give me your ideas!

What do you think!

You have a lot of posts with the same names, so I thought I’d mention that when you add to a pre-existing thread, everyone will know, as that thread will pop to the top of the list.

I think [name]Ever[/name] is different, but whether [name]Ever[/name] is too different to be a name is an individual thing. Some may find it too out there, while others may find it interesting or ethereal. It’s really an indvidual thing.

I prefer classic and vintage names, while others may prefer trendy names. Personally, while I wouldn’t use [name]Ever[/name] on my own child, I do think it’s pretty. You could always give your baby a classic [name]Eve[/name]/[name]Evelyn[/name]/[name]Evangeline[/name]/[name]Eva[/name]/[name]Genevieve[/name] name and call her “[name]Evie[/name],” or even, as a stretch, “[name]Ever[/name],” giving your baby the best of both worlds.

From the list below, [name]Genevieve[/name] is my favorite, with [name]Francesca[/name] close behind. I think that [name]Honor[/name] or [name]Stella[/name] would make lovely names, too. [name]Tinsley[/name] and [name]Tyler[/name] are at the bottom for me, and of the other modern names, I’ll vote for [name]Hadley[/name] or [name]Cambrie[/name].

Good luck!

I don’t really like the name [name]Ever[/name]. Its not really a name. I like [name]Tinsley[/name] better from your list!
Good [name]Luck[/name]!!

[name]Honor[/name] - so pretty!
[name]Ever[/name] - reminds me of Always. [name]Do[/name] not like.
[name]Tinsley[/name] - do not like. Sorry, I am biased because I usually love classic and vintage names.
[name]Cambrie[/name] - I love [name]Camden[/name] and [name]Cambria[/name] nn [name]Cambrie[/name]. I often prefer girls’ names to not end in “ie” or “y” unless it’s a name like [name]Lucy[/name] or [name]Ruby[/name]. If a girl grows up to be a judge or something exceedingly serious, it will behoove her to have a formal sounding full name. Then she could have a fun nickname that ends in the “y” sound.
[name]Tyler[/name] - do not like.
[name]Francesca[/name] - love! [name]Francie[/name] - great nickname.
[name]Genevieve[/name] - love so much!
[name]Hadley[/name] - I think of my sister’s friend [name]Debbie[/name] [name]Hadley[/name].
[name]Stella[/name] - very pretty! [name]Love[/name] as a nickname for [name]Estelle[/name]!

What do you think! My fave is [name]Genevieve[/name] nn [name]Eve[/name]. [name]Genevieve[/name].
[name]Ever[/name] could be a middle name if you love it so very much. I don’t really like [name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Ever[/name] though. Very “V” heavy.

The names I like on your list are:

[name]Ever[/name] - I think it sounds very pretty and feminine…Have you considered pairing it with [name]Lily[/name]?? I think EverLily is gorgeous!

[name]Honor[/name] - very pretty, esp as a middle name for a girl [name]IMO[/name]

[name]Genevieve[/name] - I like this, but only with a cute nickname like “[name]Vivi[/name]” or “[name]Evie[/name]”

[name]Stella[/name] - I love [name]Stella[/name]! - The first thought I have is A Streetcar Named Desire or Seinfeld, but I still love it!

[name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Honor[/name] is beautiful!!!
[name]Stella[/name] EverLily is cute (as long as your last name isn’t L heavy, like mine: )

[name]Tyler[/name] is my maiden name, so, of course, like it. I still wouldn’t use it for my daughter, I might consider it as my boy’s middle name…but that’s just my op.

[name]Honor[/name] - I don’t really like this name… It’s just my opinion.

[name]Ever[/name] - While [name]Ever[/name] is an interesting name to consider, I don’t think it would be a good name for a child. Note: [name]Cam[/name] Gigandet ([name]James[/name] in Twilight) named his daughter Everleigh [name]Rae[/name].

[name]Tinsley[/name] - Reminds me of tinsel. Never a good thing.

[name]Cambrie[/name] - Eh.

[name]Tyler[/name] - No.

[name]Francesca[/name] - Nope.

[name]Genevieve[/name] - When I was a little girl, I LOVED this name.

[name]Hadley[/name] - Reminds me of [name]Remy[/name] [name]Hadley[/name] (13) on House.

[name]Stella[/name] - So pretty!

[name]Honor[/name] - [name]Honor[/name] is pretty, but I’m not too engaged by it. [name]Honora[/name] and all is pretty too.
[name]Ever[/name] - I like [name]Ever[/name] for a boy. For a girl, though, I’m not sold.
[name]Tinsley[/name] - [name]Tinsley[/name] is very adorable.
[name]Cambrie[/name] - I don’t really like [name]Cambrie[/name].
[name]Tyler[/name] - [name]Tyler[/name]'s dated to me; besides, I do not like it on a girl.
[name]Francesca[/name] - [name]Francesca[/name] has really grown on me! I love [name]Chessie[/name], Checka, Chessa, [name]Frankie[/name], etc for nicknames.
[name]Genevieve[/name] - [name]Genevieve[/name] is a very petty name.
[name]Hadley[/name] - I don’t like [name]Hadley[/name].
[name]Stella[/name] - I prefer [name]Estelle[/name] to [name]Stella[/name].

For me [name]Ever[/name] is a little bit out there for my liking, although I really like the suggestion of EverLily which is adorable.

[name]Honor[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it, also love [name]Honora[/name]
[name]Tinsley[/name] - Cute but can’t see it aging well
[name]Cambrie[/name] - [name]Love[/name] but love [name]Cambria[/name] nn [name]Cambrie[/name] even more
[name]Tyler[/name] - Very 90’s to me and I have never liked it on a girl. Although the one of the few unisex names I like on a girl is [name]Darcy[/name], WDYT?
[name]Francesca[/name] - [name]Love[/name], the nn are cute too, ([name]Francie[/name]/[name]Frances[/name]/[name]Frankie[/name]/[name]Frannie[/name])
Geneveive - My fav from your list, love the nn [name]Evie[/name]/[name]Eve[/name]/[name]Gen[/name]/[name]Genna[/name]
[name]Hadley[/name] - Ok but quiet trendy [name]IMO[/name]
[name]Stella[/name] - [name]Love[/name] this too, [name]Estelle[/name] and [name]Estella[/name] are pretty too

I really love [name]Genevieve[/name], [name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Estelle[/name] would be stunning, or [name]Cambrie[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name]

I like [name]Ever[/name] but mostly as a nn, especially for a girl as I think it sounds masculine on its own. But still a fine name. [name]How[/name] about

[name]Evia[/name] - name of a beautiful Greek island

The suggestion of [name]Ever[/name] [name]Lily[/name] is pretty though.

I like both [name]Ever[/name] and [name]Everly[/name].

I luuurve [name]Tinsley[/name], it’s my guilty pleasure name.

First of all I will have to start by saying that I love the name [name]Ever[/name]…some people might consider a bit outhere but I actually think is very unique…However, I will advise you to consider [name]Everly[/name], Everleigh, Everlie in order to get the cute nm [name]Ever[/name].

I love the name Honnor is the prettiest virtue name (just my opp)

I really like [name]Ever[/name]… theoretically. We considered it for my DD, but decided in actual use it sounded kind of strange, like a descriptor for our last name- does that make sense?

I couldn’t see myself yelling “[name]Ever[/name], clean your room!” and the like :stuck_out_tongue:

Plus, although I know there is a starbaby girl named [name]Ever[/name], it seems slightly more boy to me, but that’s just me.

So, for us, it just didn’t quite do it.

I could totally see it in use, though.

Have you considered [name]Cambria[/name] to get the nn [name]Cambrie[/name]? Think it is a lovey place name. Could aslo be the adorable [name]Cami[/name] (also a name we considered for DD)

I think [name]Ever[/name] is a beautiful name, but to me it is more of a nn, it just seems to lack something to me to be a full name. I [name]LOVE[/name] the name [name]Everly[/name], with a nn of [name]Ever[/name].
