Is Gabriel Michael useable?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m]

[name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] is my all time favourite boy name, and [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is an honour name, and I think the two sound great together.

But are they suitable together because they are the names of two archangels?

I’m not religious and until I researched [name_u]Michael[/name_u] I didn’t even realise this, but now it’s holding me back from loving the combination.

Thanks

Yeah, I wouldn’t do that personally. [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is an archangel (its [name_m]Jesus[/name_m]’ name in heaven) and [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] was the [name_u]Angel[/name_u] that told [name_f]Mary[/name_f] she was pregnant with [name_m]Jesus[/name_m]. So, it might be weird. I like both names though, maybe with different mn?

I think it sounds like a very strong name and I love it together!! I think we can tend to overanalyze the name meanings, when in reality its more about the flow of the name and how it looks together on a resume or any other time his full name is used. I would definitely go with [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] , especially considering your reasoning for the middle name and I love [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] too!

I think it’s usable, I would assume you are religious (but I also come from a very Catholic community, so I assume a lot of names are religious). The -el endings are a bit much but I don’t think it’s terrible.

It’s not ideal with the matchy endings but it’s certainly usable. [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is such a generic name that not many people realize the angel association. [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] [name_u]Micah[/name_u] would be an alternative combo if you don’t want two angels.
