About 7 months along with baby boy #2 and we were all set on naming him [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m]. But then I happened upon the birth announcements in our town and two people named their boys [name_m]Griffin[/name_m]!
I was an 80’s baby with the name [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] and always hated having such a common/popular name. Which is why I try to find names that at least aren’t in the top 100.
Our 3 year old son’s name is [name_u]Rowen[/name_u] and I like the idea of both boys having an N at the end of their name.
Any other suggestions would be great. Names we like include: [name_u]Theo[/name_u], [name_u]Gray[/name_u] and [name_m]Adler[/name_m].
We have a 9 letter last name ending in “man” so we prefer shorter names.
[name_m]Griffin[/name_m] is one of my favs! I have yet to meet one. When we had our son, [name_m]Bennett[/name_m], there was another one born on the same day. I had a little panic. To this day, we have only met 2-3 others. I wouldn’t worry about it.
[name_m]Griffin[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] is a great name. I don’t think [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] is going to be super popular but it’s like when you buy a new car and all of a sudden you see lots of them everywhere. You are just hyper aware…
If you are really concerned look up the numbers for your state and see. The year my oldest, [name_m]Reuben[/name_m], was born his name just entered the top 100 and now 10 years later it is entering the top 50 but we have yet to meet one of his age, older or younger.
Good luck. I’m hoping you stick with [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] it’s a great name
I think [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] is still pretty unique, in the grand scheme of things. [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] is super handsome!
