Would a little girl named [name]Hermione[/name] be ridiculed in your opinion?
I’m a huge fan of [name]Hermione[/name], and there will always be a strong [name]Harry[/name] [name]Potter[/name] association but I don’t think that’s negative at all. I happen to think it’s very sweet sounding. I would love to use it in the first name position, but can’t get hubby on board.
I think it would be ridiculous if there wasn’t a little girl named [name]Hermione[/name]. 
I agree with @gigigibbons I think the strong HP reference is a little unfortunate but at least the character is pretty awesome - always level headed, overcomes prejudice, very smart and sincere and caring. I think a little girl couldn’t ask for a better role model.
