[name]Hugo[/name]'s been on our list from the beginning, and I think it may be the best choice for us. We love that it’s vintage, clunky, and unusual, and it sounds so cute when our daughters say it. Plus, [name]Willa[/name], [name]Cora[/name], [name]Sybil[/name], and [name]Hugo[/name] seem pretty perfect together to us.
So what do you think? Should we go ahead and commit? Or is there a better name out there that we’re missing?
[name]Hugo[/name] sounds great with [name]Willa[/name], [name]Cora[/name], and [name]Sybil[/name]. Your daughters names are also clunky, vintage and unusual (in a really good way!) so it suits it perfectly! I think that if you’ve found a name that you love, then you should commit. There might not be a better name out there for you, so why pass [name]Hugo[/name] up?
If it’s been on your list for a long time, you both love it, and I agree, it fits in great with [name]Willa[/name], [name]Cora[/name] and [name]Sybil[/name] (which are all old fashioned and 2 syllable) and so I say go for t!
Swistle just did an excellent post on the myth of “The [name]One[/name]”, and I completely agree with her. [name]Hugo[/name]'s a fabulous name! If it works for you, if it’s an enduring favorite, and if you honestly love it, then use it!
As a fellow fan of vintage, clunky, and unusual names I say go for it! I am also looking for “THE” boys’s name but I don’t think it really exists. [name]Hugo[/name] is a great name and goes beautifully with his siblings’ names - it’s about as perfect as it can get in my humble opinion.
I love [name]Hugo[/name]! It’s a brilliant name for a little guy and works for a man too. And it fits lovely with your daughters’ names. [name]Hugo[/name] FTW!
I think [name]Hugo[/name] is a great choice! I had never considered the name before, but there are two babies in our playgroup named [name]Hugo[/name] and it has grown on me a lot. (We live in [name]Sweden[/name] so if popularity is important check the stats for your area…) I would go for it!
