I also really like the name [name]Indigo[/name]. It is unusual, but the fact that it’s a color I think makes it not as crazy for a name. I think people would always be intrigued by the name because it’s unusual, but I can’t picture it causing any real problems in a young woman’s life. So I think it would age fine. I think it is certainly usable as a name, but if you feel it is too out there for your taste, you could use it as a middle name or something.
I know a little girl called [name]Indigo[/name], her name doesn’t stand out from her class of 25-30 children, in fact, she gets nothing but compliments on her name! She goes by [name]Indie[/name] a lot and her little sister calls her GoGo sometime which is cute, because she cant say [name]Indigo[/name]. (shes only 17 months)
Anyway, I love it and I dont think it’s too out there at all!
I’m 30weeks pregnant and my husband and my first choice if we have a girl is [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Summer[/name], I think it is beautiful. I think I will call her both [name]Indie[/name] and Gogo just to be different. Her Brothers name is [name]Bodhi[/name] and as a nickname at home we call him [name]Bobo[/name], to have [name]Bobo[/name] and Gogo would be super cute I’m thinking.
I don’t think [name]Indigo[/name] is too out there. I wouldn’t use it personally because I tend more toward classic names, but even being more of a traditional namer I don’t think [name]Indigo[/name] is weird. It’s quite pretty. I like it a lot better than other more modern names like [name]Kaylee[/name] or that sort of thing.
