Is Ines/Inez on the way to commonality?

I realize that people who aren’t as into baby names as Nameberries may have a different idea of what is ‘common’, but I am hoping to name my LO (due in Nov, surprise gender) something that will still be unique once she/he is in school.

I know [name]Ines[/name] is considered somewhat of ‘hipster’ name, but I love the sound and simplicity of it, and it is also the name of a famous suffragette ([name]Inez[/name] Mullholland).

WDYT?

[name]Love[/name], love, love this name…even though it has a French heritage too, it has always seemed more Spanish to me…is it just me? geous big brown eyes.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Ines[/name] - but the s makes all the difference to me as I don’t care for it with the z.

I do know a little [name]Ines[/name], who is three - but I still don’t think its on its way to being common or normal. Most people would be quite surprised to hear it I think.

My three yr old’s name is [name]Ines[/name] - we love it! I don’t think that it will become common though. We are not of spanish ancestry either

I love [name]Ines[/name]. I have only met one in my life (who would be around 5 now)
I don’t think it will become popular in the near future. It is recognizable but brutally underused!
A lovely choice, and definitely classic enough not to be ‘hipster’ in any negative sense.

I see [name]Ines[/name]/[name]Inez[/name] increasing slightly with all the other I names that are becoming popular. However, I don’t think it will ever be “popular.”
