Recently I took the time to go through the most interesting of the name berry blogs. I was in a hurry to get straight to the most interesting of the options. I quickly scrolled all the way down to the next options and clicked on the most appealing. Within that half second the new screen takes to load, I saw the perfect name on the current screen. I tried so franticly to get back but for some reason, the computer just wouldn’t load. I was able to get a glance at it but nothing long enough to see the exact spelling. I tried to type many spellings into the search engine, but none of the spellings came up as a real name. Though some spellings were mentioned on forums. The name is Addox or Addax .
I sat there thinking to myself; What a great alternative to the name [name_m]Maddox[/name_m]! (which I am sure in the future will rise tremendously.)
If you know the blog I am talking about, please comment the name of it if possible.
Secondly, can you give me your opinion on this name and tell me, IS IT REALLY A NAME?
Third, if it is a name, which gender do you think it fits best?
Lastly, which spelling do you prefer?
P.S. The spelling add[name_m]Ox[/name_m] was the spelling mentioned in forums but as I am currently typing this it is underlined in red. However add[name_m]Ax[/name_m] is not underlined in red and is also the way I am pretty sure I saw it spelled on the blog.
Help!
It sounds like you’re talking about the blog I wrote about obscure animal names that could work as real names.
“Addax – A spiral-horned antelope dwelling in the [name_f]Sahara[/name_f] desert. This one works really nicely for either gender I think. It’s got [name_f]Addie[/name_f] for a girl and [name_m]Dax[/name_m] for a boy, or [name_m]Ax[/name_m] if you want to go super manly. It’s sounds old but sharp and modern too with that cool X ending.”
In my opinion it sounds more like a brand of medicine than a name, but maybe if I heard it on a real child it would click. I much prefer [name_m]Maddox[/name_m] to Addox/Addax. Best of luck!
I think it’s usable. It’s no different than [name_m]Maddox[/name_m] or [name_m]Lennox[/name_m] really.
I think it works on either gender. [name_f]Addie[/name_f] for a girl, [name_m]Dax[/name_m] for a boy, [name_f]Ada[/name_f] for a girl, [name_m]Ax[/name_m] for a boy. It works.
