Okay. First off, I’m not expecting. But I’m obsessed with names.
Secondly.
My boyfriend and I were discussing names for fun, and we’ve agreed on [name]Alexia[/name] for our first girl, and [name]Dylan[/name] for our first boy.
Those are definates.
He told me recently that he likes the name [name]Alexander[/name], which I also really like.
My Question:
Is it too similar to add since we’d already have;
[name]Dylan[/name] and [name]Alexia[/name]?
Then it would be [name]Dylan[/name], [name]Alexia[/name], [name]Alexander[/name].
Sorry, I agree with the others that [name]Alexia[/name] and [name]Alexander[/name] are too close. I’m not sure if this would be an issue for you or not, but [name]Alexia[/name] is actually a word. It’s when brain damage causes a person to lose the ability to read. (I don’t think too many people are familiar with it though so it might not be an issue with the name.)
I agree, not a good idea. My husband has two cousins that are brother and sister that are named [name]Nicole[/name] and [name]Nicholas[/name], and people always comment on the lack of imagination.
I dont think its to bad… although I prefer [name]Alexis[/name]. You could call [name]Alexis[/name]/[name]Alexia[/name] “[name]Lexi[/name]” and [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Alex[/name] or [name]Xander[/name]
[name]Lexi[/name]
[name]Xander[/name]
and
[name]Dylan[/name]
Yes, I knew that it was a medical term. I’ve spoken to [name]Alexia[/name]'s about their names and they love it. No one had ever mentioned the medical term of it. Only, one person was teased and called “Dsylexia” since she also did have dsylexia. O.o
But yeah, it’s not an issue for us.
His favourite cousin’s name is Elexa, prn [name]Alexa[/name] so it’s like a tribute to her in away
