Is it complicated if siblings have the same initials?

I’m feeling desperate for a middle name for my baby girl so I may just go with [name]Grace[/name], which is my mn. Her initials would be GGW which is the same as my older daughter. Does anyone have experience with the same initials? Is there a reason why it would be complicated for siblings to have the same initials?

The only experience I have in this area is my mother and one of my aunts both have first names starting with J and a lot of the time when they were growing up/living together and got mail address to J. LastName they would end up with each others letters if the didn’t have a middle name initial on it to distinguish them between Miss J S LastName or Miss J L LastName… I’m sure there are other instances this issue would occur and I imagine it would be confusing but not in day to day life just an annoying hassle

I don’t have any experience of my own with matching initials, but I dont see how it’d make any sort of complication. Maybe, later on, your girls might even take it as a bond between them. (I know I personally probably would…if I had a sister.)
Anyway, I saw your other post and since [name]Greta[/name] [name]Gabrielle[/name] and [name]Giselle[/name] [name]Grace[/name], while both beautiful names, they are different from each other so again I don’t see it ever becoming a problem.

I don’t think it would be a big deal honestly. It’s just initials.

It’s not going to be a big problem, so don’t worry if they have the same initials.

I don’t think it’d be a problem. I have nieces & nephews with the same initials & they’ve never complained. Now in school, I did have classmates with the same initials & that was kinda a problem. But you have no control over that.

My two younger brothers have the same initials. [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Donald[/name] M____ and [name]Shane[/name] [name]David[/name] M____ .
It’s never been an issue.

The only real issue I’d consider is for you… lol… you know now you can’t just write your kids initials instead of their full names on schedules, reminders, notes ect. But with such beautiful names why would you want to?
