I love this name but it seems like it’s one of those names that everybody writes off for some reason. Am I just crazy or is there something wrong with [name]Claudia[/name]?
I think Clausia is sweet! It’s definitely an underused beauty with loads of charm :). I consider it for my list fen but I just don’t seem to love it enough but I woud love to meet a little [name]Claudia[/name]. The only negative I can think of is the meaning “lame” but lots of names don’t have great meanings.
I like it.
[name]Don[/name]'t really like it myself, but there is nothing wrong with it and since a know a few young [name]Claudia[/name]'s a guess someone must like it a lot.
I’ve always loved [name]Claudia[/name]. I couldn’t care less about the meaning, I think it’s lovely.
I find [name]Claudia[/name] adorable with either the Italian pronunciation or the English.

I saw this and had to comment straight away! I love [name]Claudia[/name] nn [name]Claudie[/name], its a classic and so pretty. There’s nothing wrong with it all! Like the others mentioned I think people see the meaning as a down side; but very few people know the real meaning of names anyway. Another name in a similar boat is [name]Mallory[/name] and its seems to get a similar reaction because of its meaning.

[name]Claudia[/name] is super pretty! It has so much history, from [name]Roman[/name] mythology and plenty of ancient Romans as well.
I like [name]Claudia[/name]. It brings back happy memories of The Babysitters Club. I don’t like it enough to ever use it though. Oddly, enough I dislike the name [name]Claude[/name].
I hate to be the only negative one here, but I just can’t like [name]Claudia[/name]. For some reason, I just can’t get around the “au” of it.
I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]CLAUDIA[/name]! I just can’t understand why people don’t like it. It is SUCH a pretty name and has been one of my favorites for a very, very long time. It is graceful and elegant yet cute and spunky. [name]Claudia[/name] is amazing. Go for it!
The meaning is also what throws me off, but I really like the name. I would love to meet one, I just wouldn’t choose it myself.
I knew a mean girl in elementary school named [name]Claudia[/name], so I’d never use it. However, if you can get past the meaning or find a positive spin on it (Someone made me fall in love with [name]Cecilia[/name]'s meaning after they said that ‘blind one’ can also mean 'blind to hate), it’s a lovely, classic name.
I love [name]Claudia[/name]. It’s kind of vampy-b*tchy, Catwomanesque (in the best way) but also completely dignified and stately because of the [name]Roman[/name] emperor and saint connections. It rolls off the tongue, but has lots of bite.
I personally don’t like it because of “clod”
I’ve met lovely women named [name]Claudia[/name], it’s just not a name I’m fond of.
