is it to much?

I want to honour my mom [name_u]LAurie[/name_u] when I have a daughter and I thought of the name [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] but i also like the name [name_f]ROsemary[/name_f] ‘[name_u]Romy[/name_u]’ but is [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] to much?

Is [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] gonna be her middle name or are you actually gonna call her [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] all the time? In this case I would say it’s too much but as a first name-middle name combination I think it would be lovely

[name_f]Laurel[/name_f] would be her middle name, I would want to call her [name_u]Romy[/name_u]

I think it’s lovely.

I think [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] is very pretty.

I prefer [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] to [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], but I love [name_u]Romy[/name_u]! [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] is pretty. It is a lot of nature/plants, but since [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] honors your mom, and she’d go by [name_u]Romy[/name_u], I think it’s ok.

I noticed your sig and I must add, I MUCH prefer [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]/[name_u]Romy[/name_u] to [name_f]Prudence[/name_f]/[name_f]Pru[/name_f]!

These are my thoughts. I love [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]. You could still use the nickname [name_u]Romy[/name_u].

anyone else?

Another idea is [name_f]Freja[/name_f] [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f].

Also:

[name_m]Arthur[/name_m] [name_u]Laurence[/name_u]

[name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_u]Laurence[/name_u]

[name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_u]Laurence[/name_u]

[name_m]Walter[/name_m] [name_u]Laurence[/name_u]

I like [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] as the first name as well. Maybe though you’re concerned that it’s TOO close to your mom’s name?

I generally prefer [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] as a first name too, though calling your girl ‘[name_u]Romy[/name_u]’ makes [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] a lot spunkier and more modern.

I hope this won’t offend you but anytime I hear laurel, I think of the saying “don’t rest on your laurels”, which is really interpreted as don’t rest on your past accomplishments so push yourself but a lot of people understand it to be don’t rest on your butt…

[name_f]Lauren[/name_f], [name_f]Laura[/name_f], [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] or even your mom’s name itself. I would be more than honored to have a granddaughter name after me exactly.

[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] is so cute! nn [name_f]Lore[/name_f] or nn [name_f]Laurel[/name_f]. [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] is very pretty in it’s own right. [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is an old lady name, which is popular now right?
Is the first sound of [name_u]Romy[/name_u] - Rowmee or rawmee? (rawmeat) still coller nn then rose or marie/mary

[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] is adorable! I adore [name_u]Romy[/name_u].

[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] is pretty and will age well
