Is it too much ett?

Are [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] and [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] too close for brothers?

I’d say so, yes. [name_m]Byron[/name_m] is a cool name with some similarities to [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] that’ might work.

[name_m]Even[/name_m] if we call him [name_m]Bear[/name_m]? I’m stretching it I know lol!

Aww, [name_m]Bear[/name_m] is such a cute nickname. But yes, I’d still say so. [name_m]Bernard[/name_m], [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], [name_m]Orson[/name_m], [name_m]Benno[/name_m], and [name_m]Bjorn[/name_m] are all nice names that mean bear, if the nickname is what you’re after.

I think your right! Thank you for the advice! ”

I wouldn’t use two -ett names, no.

I think it’s fine if that’s the name you love! It’s not like [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] and [name_u]Everett[/name_u], which start and end with similar sounds. At least they have entirely different first syllables. It’s no worse than the common practice of 2 syllable -on/-en/-an/-son ending names. eg, brothers [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] and [name_u]Hudson[/name_u].

Depends whether/how much it bothers you, of course. Stylistically I think [name_m]Gordon[/name_m], [name_u]Emmett[/name_u], and [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] go very well together.

Yes, too close in my opinion. I’d opt for something else and if you must have [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] then put it in the middle spot!
