My current favorite name for a girl is [name]Coral[/name], but I’m worried that it sounds too wordy with our last name (Silver). I’ve been trying to think of full names that could get the nn [name]Coral[/name], but I’m not really in love with any of them yet. My husband loves [name]Coraline[/name], but I’m not so sure about it. I’ve also considered [name]Cora[/name], [name]Coralie[/name], and [name]Cordelia[/name]. Can anyone else come up with a different full name to get the nn [name]Coral[/name], or does just plain [name]Coral[/name] actually sound alright with our last name? Thanks!

I think [name]Cordelia[/name] [name]Silver[/name] is absolutely stunning! I think it flows the best of all the [name]Coral[/name] names you have. The only other name I can think of that could get you [name]Coral[/name] is [name]Corliss[/name], but I’m not sure if that flows with [name]Silver[/name].

My vote is to stick with [name]Coral[/name] [name]Silver[/name]. Yes, it’s wordy, but I don’t see that as a bad thing. I actually think the imagery is beautiful. If I met a [name]Coral[/name] [name]Silver[/name], though, I would probably not even notice that her name is two nouns.

I know a [name]Coralynn[/name]. Maybe that could work for you. There’s also [name]Cordelie[/name] (a variant of [name]Cordelia[/name]) and [name]Corlissa[/name] if you’re looking for something a little more uncommon.

I don’t think [name]Coral[/name] [name]Silver[/name] is too bad together. A little choppy and a little like a description instead of a name, but not bad.

[name]Coral[/name] [name]Silver[/name] sounds like the heroine of an excellent adventure novel. I’d stick with it.

I agree with your husband… I like [name]Coraline[/name] [name]Silver[/name] the best.
Whilst [name]Cordelia[/name] [name]Silver[/name] does have a zing to it, I like the name [name]Coraline[/name] best to get [name]Coral[/name].

[name]Coralie[/name] [name]Silver[/name] (corally silver) just sounds like a shade of silver (or dear I say it, a nail polish colour gasp).
