Definitely not! With all the weird spellings and made up names right now, [name]Jane[/name] will seem new, fresh, and somewhat exotic. Go for it!!

And I think it would be completely refreshing to meet a [name]Jane[/name] these days with so many names like that are so long and surname-y like [name]Mackenzie[/name] and Addision, or made up sounding like [name]Jaiden[/name] and [name]Jayla[/name].

I think it depends on your last name. If [name]Jane[/name] is paired with a short last name it may sound too plain.
