I’ve stumbled across [name_f]Jane[/name_f] recently, and after reading comments about how much people love it, I think it might be The Name.
It honors my love for English literature ([name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Austen[/name_u] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Eyre[/name_f])
Familiar, yet not too popular.
My grandmother’s name.
For middles I was thinking either [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] or [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Astoria[/name_f]. Any more I could add to the list?
Or should I stick to my original combo of [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] [name_f]Bronte[/name_f] (which I also love very much). Can I combine it to be [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Bronte[/name_f], [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] [name_f]Bronte[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] or [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] [name_f]Bronte[/name_f], etc.?
I adore [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]…or [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] or [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] honors my late mom so I have a big soft spot for the name.
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] is one of my favorites! I don’t find it remotely plain. I thinks incredibly sweet. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is perfect.
Our daughter is [name_f]Jane[/name_f] (we are both English majors and Anglophiles) and here is our experience…
… we’ve only met one other [name_f]Jane[/name_f] our daughter’s age
… no one mispronounces, misspells, or is confused by her name
… almost all of the responses are positive to her name; one guy heard it and shrugged “just [name_f]Jane[/name_f]? It’s so plain” but he can take a flying leap
… our [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is mischievous and funny, and I love how her uber classic name is a perfect foil to her character
I love [name_f]Jane[/name_f]-- it was my mother’s middle name and now is my niece’s name-- she’s [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]. The few [name_f]Janes[/name_f] I know are independent, confident, fun, and lots of sass!
I love very much, and I don’t know any. To me, it may be plain, but it reminds me of quirkiness, spunkiness, class and unwavering confidence. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] sounds so cute and unique! I also adore [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] [name_f]Bronte[/name_f] or [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] [name_f]Bronte[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] combinations!
