I love the name [name]June[/name] for a future daughter, in honor of my late grandmother [name]Judith[/name]. I’ll be using the name regardless of popularity, but I checked the SSA statistics, and [name]June[/name] didn’t even appear on the top 1000 until 2008 (in the 800s). Then in 2009 it jumped over 200 points. [name]Do[/name] you think [name]June[/name] is going to be the next [name]Sophie[/name]/[name]Ava[/name]/et c.?
Also, I’m having a lot of trouble coming up with a MN for [name]June[/name]. Any suggestions?
[name]Hi[/name]! I really like [name]June[/name], but I don’t think it will be the next [name]Sophie[/name], [name]Ava[/name], [name]Emma[/name], etc. It is a lovely name, but I think more people tend to use [name]June[/name] as a middle name, or as a first name for a summer baby.
There are so many great possibilities for middle names for [name]June[/name]! Here are some suggestions:
I love [name]June[/name], so I hope it doesn’t get to be too popular. I have no feel for whether it is headed to the top 20. If it is any consolation, I think more people think of it as a mn, and I think it would be unusual for a single syllable name to become “the next [name]Sophie[/name].”
I don’t think [name]June[/name] is going to be the next [name]Sophie[/name]. I think it’s more popular as a middle name than first name so I wouldn’t worry about its rise. I love the name [name]JUNO[/name] and like [name]Junia[/name] as well. I think I would go for a two or more syllable middle name for [name]June[/name]. For some unexplainable reason, I’ve always liked French sounding names paired with [name]June[/name]. Here are other suggestions for [name]June[/name]'s middle name (French and otherwise) .
