I’m going on 30 weeks and really struggling with a name for [name_u]Baby[/name_u] Girl #3. We struggled with #2, went to the hospital with 5 first names and 8 middles and ended up picking one because they wouldn’t let us go home without choosing. I’m trying to avoid that stress this time around but not having any luck!
Our frontrunner has been [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], but I’m worried that it’s trending up. Our first two ([name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]) were relatively obscure and seemed fresh when we chose them, but then skyrocketed in the years after their births. That is my only regret about their names and hoping to avoid that again. [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is also on the SSN upward trajectory, and I woke up this morning to see our frontrunner combo, [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_u]Lou[/name_u], featured and the name sage post of the day! What are your thoughts on [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]?

Open to rearranging combos also with the caveat that one of the names we’d like to be a family name. I really love the idea of [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] [name_f]Helen[/name_f] for you. [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is great too. I would also suggest [name_f]Delia[/name_f] [name_u]Lou[/name_u]. You have lots of great options.
I don’t think [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is super trendy, it’s just more familiar than it used to be. [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_u]Lou[/name_u] is adorable, and I also like [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u], [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. I’d probably pick [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u], it’s a very sweet combo.
I think [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is trending up, but it’s a cute match with [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]. My favorite from your list is [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] [name_f]Helen[/name_f]. I also like:
Well, the stats don’t lie: [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is definitely on the up, but it sounds so perfect alongside your other daughters’ names that I’d still be inclined to use it. In this day and age she will be extremely unlikely to share her name with several in her class, no matter how far up the charts it may rise.
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_u]Lou[/name_u] is sweet and I like that it continues the monosyllabic middle pattern of your older two. If it were me, I’d go with [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Helen[/name_f] — [name_f]Helen[/name_f] is such an underrated name these days and sits well alongside classic [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Ann[/name_f].
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is extremely trendy, but that seems to be your taste. Nothing wrong with loving trendy names. For [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]'s sister, I like:
@southern.maple - your comment is my genuine concern. My other two girls are older, and when we named them [name_f]Isla[/name_f] was below the top 500 and [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] was just barely in the top 1000. Then they jumped, and I think [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is headed the same direction.
You (and others) also pulled out my runner up favorites from the long list, which confirms that I should think more about these. My next favorites are [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u].
I just looked at the charts for [name_f]Olive[/name_f] and [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]. [name_f]Olive[/name_f] rocketed back onto the charts but appears to have faltered in its rise. [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]'s had a more steady rise but looks to be faltering also.
I LOOOOVE [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] nn [name_f]Juni[/name_f] and [name_u]Lou[/name_u] is gorgeous as a middle name - I think use it.
