Pronounced Car-Sea-[name_m]Ah[/name_m].
I know it’s not many people’s cup of tea, and it could be mispronounced as Car-sha, but I truly love it.
If not usable as a first name, would it work as a middle name? (For example, [name_f]Cadence[/name_f] Karsia, [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] Karsia, etc, feel free to leave suggestions)
Also, are there any names similar to Karsia that are more usable?
Thanks!
I think it’s totally usable as a first name. I also like it with [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] as a first name as well.
(Taken from your signature):
Karsia [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]
Karsia [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
Karsia [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
Karsia [name_f]Valentina[/name_f]
Or maybe:
Karsia [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
Karsia [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
Karsia [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
Karsia [name_f]Neve[/name_f]
Karsia [name_f]Olive[/name_f]
Karsia [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] Karsia
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] Karsia
[name_f]Anais[/name_f] Karsia
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] Karsia
[name_f]Noemi[/name_f] Karsia
[name_f]Amelie[/name_f] Karsia
[name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] Karsia
It is usable, just not my style. I prefer [name_f]Kassia[/name_f] (or [name_f]Cassia[/name_f]).
I think it’s usable, yes, but I must admit to immediately thinking two things upon seeing it… the first being that I instantly thought ‘car sick’ in my head for some reason, and the second being that I could see it potentially being misread or misspelled as [name_f]Karisa[/name_f]/[name_f]Karissa[/name_f].
Other sort of similar names I like: [name_f]Carys[/name_f], [name_f]Kaisa[/name_f], Kasimira, [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f], Keresi, [name_f]Cassiopeia[/name_f] & [name_f]Ksenia[/name_f].
My instinct was the pronounce Karsia how you spell it. It’s not my style, but a pretty name that I don’t see a problem with being used as a first name. It also sounds lovely as a middle name to [name_f]Juliet[/name_f].
[name_f]May[/name_f] I get origins of this name?
It makes me think of car seats but I’d say it’s pretty usable. Have you considered [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f]?
