I thought it sounded like a cute, updated version of [name_f]Loretta[/name_f], but I’ve only seen it used once.
I have never seen it before, but I do think it could work. Would you be pronouncing it like [name_f]Loretta[/name_f]? Because, if so, it might create a lot of spelling issues – perhaps something to consider? (Though that doesn’t have to be a deal-breaker.)
I did read the title of the thread and thought it might be a typo, a misspelling of [name_f]Loretta[/name_f]. But that could just be me.
And, tbh, I sort of find the look of it a little awkward. With this spelling, the pronunciation just does not seem as straightforward as [name_f]Loretta[/name_f]. (Assuming, that is, that they are pronounced the same.)
But I still think that you could make Liretta work if you love it.
Is it pronounced like [name_f]Loretta[/name_f]? I love [name_f]Loretta[/name_f], I think it would be very usable. But I’m not sure about Liretta because I think it confuses the pronunciation (and spelling, my phone autocorrected it to [name_f]Loretta[/name_f] haha). If you really want a unique spelling, I think [name_f]Lauretta[/name_f] or [name_f]Laretta[/name_f] would be better.
I’ve never heard of it
The only thing I can find on it is that it’s the name of a wedding dress company. It does sound like a legitimate name but I do prefer [name_f]Loretta[/name_f]
