Is Louise as common as first names as as middle name?

I read somewhere that [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is most common middle name, but do you think it’s common as first name?

In the UK at least [name_f]Louise[/name_f] was the most common middle name of all time (I would know, I have it! and so do over 70% of my friends…) but I don’t think it’s nearly as common as a first name.

In the US it’s only just inside the top 1000 and in the UK it’s in the top 500 but not super high in that (400 and something). I think it is quite popular in [name_f]France[/name_f] at the moment. I have no idea about anywhere else, sorry!

I know four teenaged [name_f]Louise[/name_f]’s are in their teens but I know at least ten girls with it as a middle name. I’m in Australia where it seems to be used a bit more

It’s a pretty common middle, but it isn’t too common as a first. Not that I’ve come across at least. I’m in the US, if that helps.
