Is naming twins Jonah and Jonas too much?

Yes. Twins need to be treated like separate, unique people and giving them nearly identical names doesn’t really help that imo.

Yes I think so!

They’re definitely too close in sound. They’re also two forms of the same name, so it’s like naming one child [name_u]John[/name_u] and the other [name_u]Sean[/name_u].

unfortunately yes it feels way too close. maybe use one as a first name and the other the middle ? e.g. jonah river and orion jonas

Definitely too much it’s a variation of the same name and all the sounds are the same besides an added S sound on [name_m]Jonas[/name_m]. I would pick which variation you prefer most and then from there pick a second name you really love for the sibset.

Sorry but these are essentially the same name and are much too close

Yes

way too close for me, sorry!

Far too close.

They are the same name. One is Hebrew, the other the Greek version of the Hebrew.

Like naming triplets [name_m]Joshua[/name_m], [name_m]Jason[/name_m], and [name_m]Jesus[/name_m].

Unfortunately, I think it’s too close.
Growing up they will share parents, a birthday, probably toys and maybe friends; sharing almost identical names would be a lot.
Sorry :yellow_heart:

I think so. I love the suggestion of using them as middle names.

Only the last letter is different. It’s not my personal taste, but pick your favorite and for the other twin maybe it can just start with J?

Yes
