Is Odie Owens strange?

Trying to decide if they sound good together

Update: Thank you all so much for your feedback!
Odie is actually going to be more of a short form of the full name Otis-Damien (OD/Odie), it’s a family name, just trying to fit it with the new surname of Owens!

Thanks again

It doesn’t necessarily flow all that well, but I don’t think it sounds strange or not good together. I say if you like it, go for it as it works just fine!

Sounds kind of cool to me

I think it sounds cool, like a musician or actor.

Although I worked with a [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]Miller[/name_u] which has a similar alliterative ring to it and he hated that every new people he met would comment on his name. If you like it I’d say go for it

I think it’s doable. It is a little bit cartoonish with the double O sound, but equally it sounds like it could be a cool jazz name! Would [name_u]Odie[/name_u] be the full name?

I think that sounds very cute!!

it sounds off to me, a bit rhyme–like. I think the two strong “oh” sounds are a bit silly, but I think names such as [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] and [name_u]Oliver[/name_u] could work because they’d offset the two o’s.

[name_u]Odie[/name_u] [name_m]Owens[/name_m] sounds really iconic to me, if that makes sense. A person I’d remember for a long time. I don’t think it sounds too rhymes and, even if it did, rhymes names aren’t bad if done in the right way.
