If you met a little [name_f]Pomona[/name_f], what your first thoughts be?
Would you mistake it for some other name at first, would you recognize the origin, etc?
What do you think of the name in general?
And lastly, do you think [name_f]Pomona[/name_f] could age well?
I love the potential [name_f]Pomme[/name_f], Pompom, [name_f]Polly[/name_f], and [name_f]Molly[/name_f] nicknames.
I think it’s usable! I can’t really think of any ways it could potentially be mispronounced when reading it. The biggest issue I foresee is that some people might mishear it as [name_f]Mona[/name_f].
When I hear the name, my mind tends to jump to [name_f]Pomona[/name_f] Sprout from [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m], but that’s not a bad association. It doesn’t really sound like a “little girl” name to me, but that doesn’t mean I think it would sound out of place on a child. It’s just easier for me to envision it on an adult.
As for my personal feelings, it’s not a name I’d pick out, but it’s still cute. I like that it’s a mythological name, and I love that the nn [name_f]Pomme[/name_f] means apple!
I like it and it also reminds me of [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m]. If I heard it on any age girl, I would think how cute and unexpected it was. Aww I like [name_f]Pomme[/name_f] as a nn! All of those would work. [name_f]Mona[/name_f] is also cute
I like the other names in your signature. [name_f]Pomona[/name_f] [name_f]Justine[/name_f], [name_f]Pomona[/name_f] [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f], [name_f]Pomona[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Pomona[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]. All would be pretty
