I prefer the spelling [name_f]Posy[/name_f] myself but I think it could work. With names like [name_f]Liv[/name_f], [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], [name_f]Evie[/name_f] and [name_f]Millie[/name_f] being used, I think it could fit in.
If you’re worried, [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] could have the nickname [name_f]Posey[/name_f] or you could have something like [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] with the nickname [name_f]Posey[/name_f].
I love it, and I think it’s perfectly usable! I think it could be a cute nick name, even if you don’t use a similar name. It could just be a cute pet name for a more traditional name.
I like [name_f]Posey[/name_f] and think it is cute, but I would find a grown woman named [name_f]Posey[/name_f] a bit odd. Personally I like names that age well and [name_f]IMO[/name_f] [name_f]Posey[/name_f] is not one of those names, even though I do love it. I also think [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] nn [name_f]Posey[/name_f] is a good idea.
I love [name_f]Posey[/name_f], totally usable. Personally I prefer the spelling [name_f]Posy[/name_f], but [name_f]Posey[/name_f] and [name_f]Posie[/name_f] are nice too. It makes me think of the book Ballet Shoes.
I’m a firm believer in the idea that almost all names age fine. People often say that ‘cutesy’ names like [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] or [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] won’t work on adults, but I know SO many adults with those names (which are all pretty common in the UK) so I really don’t think it’s so unreasonable to imagine an adult named [name_f]Posy[/name_f] - names age with the child.
I think it’s usable. If it’s a bit girly for her in her teen years, [name_u]Po[/name_u]/[name_u]Poe[/name_u] is a cool nickname.
I love [name_f]Posy[/name_f]/[name_f]Posey[/name_f]/[name_f]Posie[/name_f]! I definitely think it’s usable - and stunning.
I think [name_f]Posey[/name_f] is very usable as a nickname but I prefer it with a more formal name to fall back on ([name_f]Josephine[/name_f], [name_f]Joanna[/name_f], [name_f]Mariposa[/name_f])
Definitely useable.
Gorgeous and definitely usable. A well known writer and producer in Australia is [name_f]Posie[/name_f] [name_m]Graeme[/name_m]-[name_m]Evans[/name_m], aged in her 60s. Seems to work fine! (Though I did just check, her birth name is [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], so [name_f]Posie[/name_f] a nn in this case.)
I know an adult [name_f]Posy[/name_f], so I find it totally usable. She’s a college professor for whatever that’s worth.

[name_f]IMO[/name_f] it depends on where you are…the UK & other Commonwealth countries seem to have more of a history using this name. I’ve never heard it used in the US, at least in the eastern quadrant of the country. FWIW, I think of it as a nn for [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] ([name_u]Josie[/name_u]->[name_f]Posie[/name_f], like [name_f]Mary[/name_f]->[name_f]Molly[/name_f]->[name_f]Polly[/name_f]?).
I think it’s definitely usable. I like both spellings, [name_f]Posy[/name_f] and [name_f]Posey[/name_f].
I like it I had a cat named [name_f]Posey[/name_f], and her daughter was [name_f]Primrose[/name_f]. I love both, and kinda wish I could use [name_f]Primrose[/name_f]
Although it edges on the too cutesy side for me I think it is perfectly usable and does make a sweet nickname
