I love the name [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], but is it too close if she would have cousins called [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] and [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]?

If Ruby’s sister was [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] I would say yes . But as a cousin I would say no !

I say it depends how close the cousins are and if they share a last name.
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] is adorable but very similar to [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] so if they will share a last name/school/neighborhood I would choose another name.

for sisters, yes but for cousins, not at all!! I think even if they spent a lot of time together it wouldn’t be a problem, they’re different sounding enough.
(also, I actually love how adorable cousins [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] sound together!! they sound like the cutest trio!)

It’s not like they are siblings. And anyway [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] and ruby are very different names to each other. It’s not like [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] and madison for example

I think [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] would be a bit too close for siblings but I don’t see it as an issue for cousins! I have cousins that are [name_u]Abby[/name_u] and [name_f]Addy[/name_f] and that has never been an issue (:
