Is Sailor getting really popular in the US?

It’s not a name for me, but it just seems to be exceedingly trendy in the US. Most baby announcements I hear from that part of the world are [name_u]Sailor[/name_u], [name_u]Saylor[/name_u] or [name_f]Sayla[/name_f]. Not necessarily people I know personally, but on Instagram etc. Maybe it’s really popular online? What do you think?

I’m from the U.S. and I only know of one [name_u]Sailor[/name_u], irl, and my sister was considering it.

Personally, though I’ve heard of it as a name, I’ve never known anyone personally who has used it. I like it though!

I have never met or heard of a [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] (except [name_u]Christie[/name_u] Brinkley’s daughter). SSA says that [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] is not in the top 1,000 female names (it says the same for male names). I do admit I have a crush on the name and it has special meaning for us.
