Is Sairy a worthy stand-alone name (similar to [name_f]Sadie[/name_f]), or is it better as an informal nickname for [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]?
Thanks!

I think it’s better as a nickname for [name_f]Sarah[/name_f].
I don’t know. Call me crazy, but I think it actually works. I went to high school with a girl named [name_f]Sarai[/name_f], but she was Venezuelan (I think?), so it was said the Spanish way (sah-rah-EE), but most of the pathetically white people in our area couldn’t say it right, lol, so she just told people to call her SAIR-ee. I always thought it had a cool sound, and [name_f]Sarai[/name_f] looks so beautiful. I’m not crazy about the sah-[name_m]RYE[/name_m] prn., so it seems like a perfect solution to me. But I wouldn’t be surprised to meet a girl who was just SARE-ee/SAIR-ee, however it’s spelled. I have to say I’m not sure I’m crazy about the Sairy spelling, though–it makes me think of “hairy” for some reason haha.
[name_m]How[/name_m] would you spell it? Seri, Serri, Sarey, [name_f]Sari[/name_f]?
The thing about [name_f]Sari[/name_f] is that to me it says “sorry”.
What about Sairi? Sairie?
