I’m looking for some advice, I came accross the name [name_u]Shawn[/name_u] and really like it, but I’m wondering if it’s useable still or is it out dated?
[name_u]Shawn[/name_u] is definitely usable. It does not come across as out-dated to me. I personally much prefer the [name_m]Sean[/name_m] spelling. I adore [name_m]Sean[/name_m].
It’s been in use a long time. And will probably be in use for a long time. No it’s not flashy and new, I know [name_u]Shawn[/name_u]'s that are grandfathers, fathers, young men and children. If you love it then it’s for you.
[name_u]Shawn[/name_u] is usable. I have met Shawns of all ages.
It’s both. Very usable and a little bit dated. I’d put it in the same category as [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] or [name_m]Kevin[/name_m]. Popular in the 70s, but nothing that would raise eyebrows now.
it doesn’t feel dated to me and is a perfectly fine name.
Of course. [name_u]Shawn[/name_u]/[name_m]Sean[/name_m] is great.
