Is Sibset Cora and Clara too much?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all,

Fairly standard question for today! Is having two siblings named [name_f]Cora[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] (likely short for [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] and [name_f]Clarissa[/name_f]) too much? I’ve been trying to look for two-syllable girl names to match [name_f]Cora[/name_f] that either end in A or an A sound, and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is the nicest I’ve found so far, but I’m worried that the names are two similar. All opinions and suggestions welcome!

As full names they’re maybe too similar, but [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] and [name_f]Clarissa[/name_f] are just different enough! It’s not as big an issue to have similar sounding nicknames in my opinion.

Thats a relief to hear! I was worried that the similar sounding names was just a little…over the top, lol.

Clara and [name_f]Cora[/name_f] are basically the same name, only one sound is different, and honestly it sounds like characters from a children’s book used for comedic effect. [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] and [name_f]Clarissa[/name_f] are completely fine, but [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Cora[/name_f] are far too close.

As full names they’re okay. But [name_f]Cora[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is too much.

Other suggestions:
[name_f]Coralie[/name_f] and [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f] ([name_f]Cora[/name_f] and [name_f]Cassie[/name_f])
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] and [name_u]Casey[/name_u]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] and [name_f]Kathy[/name_f]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] and [name_f]Katie[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_u]Kimberly[/name_u]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_u]Courtney[/name_u]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] and [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Catriona[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_u]Cadence[/name_u]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] “[name_f]Cassie[/name_f]”

Coralie and [name_f]Clarissa[/name_f] are fine together but [name_f]Cora[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] are definitely too much!

I would do something different. As someone who occasionally has a hard time differentiating between characters, I would probably get then confused.
