What are your thoughts on using the name [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] for a girl. I have LOVED this name for years and I specifically love it for girls. I just think it’s so spunky and unique. I also grew up watching the Disney show Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m] [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] and the main character is a teenage girl named [name_u]Teddy[/name_u], so maybe that’s why I have loved it for so long!
I don’t hate the full name [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] or [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] but I just feel like they don’t give off the same vibe [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] does. I do like just [name_f]Thea[/name_f] quite a lot.
So I just wanted to get your opinion on if [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] is a usable girls name and if so, what full name could work?

I also love [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] by itself for a girl. It’s really cute!
I think it works. Personally, I would prefer to be [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] nn [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] because I like having options but that’s just me.

To me yes because I also watched good luck [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] 
. I’d say it’s probably better as a nn than a full name. I think it could work with any T name or even TD initials for that matter.
I do like [name_f]Thea[/name_f], maybe [name_f]Althea[/name_f] or [name_f]Odette[/name_f]?

It definitely reminds me of Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m] [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] so I like it for any gender!

I know a [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] and I’m not sure if it’s short for anything, but it’s so cute!!
I think it’s cute, but probably better as a nickname- Upon hearing the name, I think most people would assume it’s a nickname for a more formal name.

It’s usable on its own, how about [name_f]Tedda[/name_f] or [name_f]Teodora[/name_f]?

YES!! [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] is 100% usable for a girl and as a full name! I can’t think of any names that haven’t been mentioned. Maybe [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f]?
