Is the name Juliette too tied to "Romeo and Juliet" to name another character it?

Especially if the character has a love interest? (Not named [name_m]Romeo[/name_m], of course) What do you think?

I don’t think so! It wouldn’t even cross my mind if I picked up a book with a character named [name_f]Juliette[/name_f], and especially since it’s spelled differently!

I don’t think so. If the plot was very similar I might think it was picked intentionally, but a character named [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] who had a love interest wouldn’t be enough to make me think of [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f].

Definitely not. [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] is all her own! I think R&J is well old enough not the be the only association for those two names!
