Is the name Sabrina too tied to "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" to give to another new fictional character?

What do you honestly think?

If you’re giving it to another witch, then yes, but if it’s a whole different kind of story, I think you’re fine!

Agreed! ^

It’s the first association I have when I hear [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] but I don’t know anyone named [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] so that’s maybe why.

I agree with the first comment. If she’s a witch or the story has magic elements no but if it’s totally unrelated I don’t see a problem.

[name_f]My[/name_f] first association with [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] is [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] Grimm from the Sisters Grimm series so it definitely has a life outside the teenage witch.

If the story has witches or magic in it, then yes, even if your character doesn’t do all the magic-ing. If it’s different, I don’t think there would be a problem  [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] is a great name. There’s the names [name_f]Sabina[/name_f] or [name_f]Sabine[/name_f], too.

I think of the [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] Hepburn film, so everyone’s association will be different.

Agree with previous posters that it’s probably fine in a non-magical story!
