Is there a full name for Annie that

still allows me to use [name_f]Diana[/name_f] as a middle?
[name_f]Annie[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f] is silly sounding, as an example. [name_u]Or[/name_u] most ending ana names. Is there anything at all?
I know some people say use [name_f]Diana[/name_f] and call her [name_f]Annie[/name_f]. [name_f]Diana[/name_f] is my late mother and I love her name but my partner is less of a fan of using it directly in the first. I’m also nervous on how other family would take that

Angelina/Angela/Angelica/Angeline?

Evangeline was my first thought!

Rowan or Marian, maybe — they don’t have the same vowel sound but I think you could still use Annie?

I think [name_f]Antoinette[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f] could be cute!

[name_f]Angelica[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f]

[name_f]Roseanne[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f]

[name_f]Anouk[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f]? The stress is on the second syllable so I think it works!

I think something like [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f], [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f], [name_f]Angelica[/name_f], Angelina/Angeline or [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] would work perfectly with middle name [name_f]Diana[/name_f].

Maybe a name that unexpectedly gives you the nickname [name_f]Annie[/name_f]? [name_u]Or[/name_u] one that doesn’t emphasise the ‘An’ sound?

Another one I haven’t seen yet is [name_f]Anahi[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f]
I know an [name_f]Anahi[/name_f] who goes by [name_f]Ana[/name_f], but [name_f]Annie[/name_f] could just as easily be a nickname!

If my [name_f]Annie[/name_f] had had a longer formal name, we would’ve gone with [name_f]Anneline[/name_f] (Ann-uh-line, rhymes with mine). I think it could work with [name_f]Diana[/name_f].

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Annie[/name_f]. So cute.

You’ve had so many good suggestions so I’ll just second the ones I think are nicest!

Knowing your sibset, I think [name_f]Manon[/name_f], [name_f]Marianne[/name_f] and [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] work especially well :relaxed:

I’ve never heard of Anneline but wow! She is stunning!
