Hello im not sure if this is the right place to be asking but is there a problem with the name [name_u]Lotus[/name_u]? Well like a culture thing or im looking into it too much? Sorry if this offends anyone…
I am not an authority on this but I think it is OK as it is a botanical name, and I feel like those are for everyone.
I actually really like it, feels kinda ethereal, alongside such names like [name_u]Indigo[/name_u], [name_u]Lyric[/name_u], [name_u]Poet[/name_u], [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] etc., I say go for it

I know it’s a sacred flower in some religions, but I think the fact it’s also a botanical, nature name, it’s usable

since it’s a nature name, I don’t think it’s offensive to any certain group. it may be a bit bold for some tastes, however !!
i think, for the most part, nature names are fair game, and from my perspective, using lotus is a very viable option!
I have never heard of anything about [name_u]Lotus[/name_u] that would be offensive. I love [name_u]Lotus[/name_u] for a girl!
[name_u]Lotus[/name_u] is also biblical flower/thing with other associations like incense and such. I used to love it.
