I just started loving the name [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] for out next girl, but I have one issue, one of her sister’s middle names is [name_u]Jean[/name_u], which is pretty close, an anagram in fact. Would this be an issue as I don’t want her to think we named her after her sister. [name_u]Jean[/name_u] had a completely separate meaning to us. Our other choice is [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] nn [name_f]Etta[/name_f] or [name_f]Hattie[/name_f], is that a better pick?
Looking at your other children’s names (including nn) I think [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] would suit better with a cute nn like [name_f]Hattie[/name_f].
If [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is your favourite though, I don’t think you have anything to worry about as [name_u]Jean[/name_u] is the middle name.
Goodluck
I don’t think it should be a problem. I love [name_f]Esther[/name_f]!
I don’t think it’s an issue. They’re different names. I love [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]!! Good luck.
Not an issue at all. My brother and I share a middle name and have similar first names even. It hasn’t affected us whatsoever
It’s not an issue.
Totally fine! Your other children both have one-syllable J middles so I actually think [name_f]Jane[/name_f] fits perfectly.
I don’t think [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_u]Jean[/name_u] are too case. Especially when one’s a middle. I love [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]! Beautiful!!
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is fabulous! I wouldn’t worry about the similarity in sounds. My first name and my brother’s first name differed by only a vowel sound and it was never an issue.
