Is the name [name]August[/name] [name]Wolfhart[/name] too “out there” you think? Husband is wanting a very strong and masculine sounding name and he suggested this one. What do you guys think?
Can you suggest any other middle names that have a similar feel? He doesn’t like common middle names like [name]William[/name], [name]Henry[/name], [name]Alexander[/name] etc.
I love [name]August[/name], but I personally wouldn’t use a name like [name]Wolfhart[/name], even if it is in the middle. [name]Just[/name] really not a fan.
[name]How[/name] about: (these middles all mean something to do with strength/power/warrior,etc)
I think the middle name [name]Vladimir[/name] is the right kind of style he is looking for… but maybe not after someone quite that evil [name]Ptolemy[/name] is another one I like!
What about just [name]Wolf[/name] in the middle? Or (though this may be too soft for him) just [name]Hart[/name]? I like them separate more than I do together.
I really like the suggestion of [name]August[/name] [name]Wolf[/name]. [name]August[/name] [name]Wolfgang[/name] may be another ‘[name]Wolf[/name]’ option.
I like the idea of [name]Wolf[/name] or [name]Hart[/name] as a middle name but because our last name is only one syllable I think the flow is off. 2-1-1 doesn’t sound the best to my ears.
I really like the suggestion of [name]Victor[/name] and [name]Zeus[/name]! Maybe some more names along those lines? I don’t think I am brave enough to use [name]Zeus[/name]! Also, its only one syllable.
Is [name]Wolfhart[/name] a family name? If so, go for it. If not, ummmm, no. I think it is out there if you just made it up, but fine if there’s a family connection. That said, it does have a great ring to it.
Why not do [name]August[/name] [name]Wolfgang[/name] instead? Same strong feeling, but using an actual man’s name.
But I also want to second [name]Llewellyn[/name]. A great, strong hero name. However it doesn’t have the macho association of [name]Wolfhart[/name].
Check this website that has names meaning “wolf” – there are some great names on it, the challenge is matching one to [name]August[/name]:
I think the idea of [name]August[/name] [name]Wolfgang[/name] is a viable one, bit here are some other suggestions: [name]August[/name] [name]Donovan[/name]

I just wanted to comment on moxielove’s post; [name]Ulrike[/name] is a [name]German[/name] girl name. With that said, I’m really glad that it is [name]August[/name] you’re working on. It’s less theme-y than the prevoius suggestion in an earlier thread. [name]August[/name] [name]Victor[/name] is really nice, it’s some of my absolute favourite names. And I had to add that the suggestions of [name]Draco[/name], [name]Raven[/name], [name]Icarus[/name] and [name]Orion[/name] are soo cool, as is [name]Night[/name] and [name]Shadow[/name]. I think it would be awesome to have such a middle name as a little boy! What about [name]Knight[/name]? It doesn’t get much more masculine than that! Other suggestions might be [name]Odin[/name] and [name]Thor[/name], if you’re intrested in Norse mythology as well. Or maybe [name]Viggo[/name]?
[name]August[/name] [name]Draco[/name] (Really like this one!)
[name]August[/name] [name]Raven[/name]
[name]August[/name] [name]Icarus[/name]
[name]August[/name] [name]Orion[/name]
[name]August[/name] [name]Victor[/name] (Classy, I think, but still with the roman theme)
[name]August[/name] [name]Night[/name]
[name]August[/name] [name]Shadow[/name] (Maybe a bit too ‘out there’)
[name]August[/name] [name]Knight[/name]
[name]August[/name] [name]Odin[/name] (This is cool!)
[name]August[/name] [name]Thor[/name]
[name]August[/name] [name]Viggo[/name] ([name]Viggo[/name] comes from an old Scandinavian word for war, vig, that has been latinized? latinizised? No clue what the correct term is, pardon the Swedish girl’s lame English!)
