Is this illiteration too much?

So I’ve finally put [name_u]Parker[/name_u] back in my top 5. I’ve loved it forever and its not really used over here in the UK. I know that it’s everyone’s cup of tea but I dont find it to be trendy at all.

However, I like having a small signature and I’m trying to get [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] back in it because I’m in love with it. I like how [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] sounds but I’m not too sure on the illiteration.

Should I go with [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] and [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] or [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] and [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m]?

Thanks in advanced!

I agree with previous poster.

Agreed. Alliteration in itself doesn’t bother but [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] does have a cartoon like vibe.

I have to agree with the previous posters - the alliteration is a bit too much. I love [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] and [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] though!!

[name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_u]Elias[/name_u]. Though if you switch it around, I think [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] [name_u]Parker[/name_u] flows much better than [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m].

I’m not personally a fan of alliteration but I have warmed up to it. However, P and K are plosive consonants present in both [name_u]Parker[/name_u] and [name_m]Patrick[/name_m], so the alliteration is a lot more obstructive to the flow.

I think amberdaydream is right about why this particular alliteration doesn’t sound quite right. I also vote for [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] and [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m], both of which sound great!

I really like [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m]!!! I think maybe [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] [name_u]Parker[/name_u] is a little too Spider-[name_m]Man[/name_m] but [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] is fine  and how many people would be calling him by both names?

[name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] is gorgeous too xx

I much prefer [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] to [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m], sorry. It sounds very [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Parker[/name_u] to me, though I wouldn’t raise my eyebrows too high upon hearing as I generally do love alliteration.

I actually really love [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m]. :stuck_out_tongue: Maybe it’s the "P"s AND the "K"s that make it cartoony to some? I actually prefer [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] and [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u], but [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] and [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] are lovely, too.
