Our two favourite girls names are [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]. is [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] too crazy? I think it’s very lovely, but an awful lot of Ls and Os innit?
If you vote no, may I have a couple suggestions? [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] as the first or [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] as the middle.
Thanks!
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] _____ [name_u]James[/name_u]
______ [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]
Well, I’m not [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]'s biggest fan, but I have to admit that the combo does flow well. =p
[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] would be great, too. You’re not crazy!
I think it is lovely and goes well with a one syllable last name.
I like this bold pairing.
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] is a bit of a mouthful, but I think it’s a nice name. And I think you can get away with an ultra-frilly first/middle name combination with a short, simple last name like [name_u]James[/name_u]. If you’re looking for other options, you might like:
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Gwen[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwen[/name_f] [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]
I love [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]!
No it’s not crazy at all! And I really like [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
I love both names but I don’t think they flow together. Too much ‘L’ going on. But I do think they’ll be great in a sib set!
I like the above suggestions!
I echo the comment that there is too much L sound going on there. I personally love both [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f], but not together as a name. Any middle starting with an L following [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] has a flow problem, almost like a run-on name when you say both together, not where where one starts and the other ends.
My apologies for lack of suggestions at this time, my creativity isn’t there today!
There is a lot of L sound in [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f], but I think switching it around to [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] makes it less noticeable.
I’m afraid the two names together are a bit of a tongue twister, but then [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is a tongue twister all on its own for me.
I really like [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] ___ [name_u]James[/name_u]. Is there a reason [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] has to take the middle spot?
I love both names separately, and think they’d make a great sibset, but together I do find them too much of as mouthful. Suggestions (not really knowing your taste though!):
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f]
[name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f]
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f]
Definitely not too crazy! I think it actually flows really well.
I like it & don’t notice a preponderance of L sounds…
Some suggestions:
[name_f]Lorelai[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Lorelai[/name_f] [name_f]Marin[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_u]Ren[/name_u]ée
Good luck!
